For the past three months, I've been working on a team that has a charter to develop a Software Factories capability at my company. It's been a really good experience for me. I'm working on a small team with some very capable people, and the working environment reminds me a lot of my days working at NuMega.
To learn more about current methodologies and best practices in Domain Specific Languages and code generation, I find myself in Cambridge (not the one down the street - the original one in the UK) with two of my colleagues attending the Code Generation 2009 conference. This experience has encouraged me to dust off the old blog and start talking tech again. When I get back, I'm planning on blogging about some of my experiences here and what I have learned.
Stay tuned!
