Creating Custom Word 2007 Shortcuts

If you want to create a custom shortcut to a often-used command in Word 2007, try this:

  1. Open Word and press 'Alt + Ctrl + numeric keypad '+' key.' Your cursor will change to a command cursor.
  2. With the command cursor, click on the command you want to bind your keyboard shortcut to.
  3. The Customize Keyboard dialog will appear with your selected command highlighted.
